Route from A40 road to Brynderwen

Brynderwen from the M4 Motorway:

  • Leave the M4 at junction 24
  • Take the A449, towards Monmouth
  • After about 12 miles, take the A40 towards Abergavenny
  • Go through Abergavenny, staying on the A40
  • At the “Old Ford Inn”, 5 miles after the village of Bwlch, and 3 miles before Brecon, turn right
  • Go 1 mile to Pennorth, and turn left at telephone box
  • Go 1 mile towards Talyllyn,
  • Brynderwen entrance is on your right, and signposted.
